At K9Lives, our goal is simple: to give every stray dog the chance of a safer, healthier and more compassionate life.
Across India and Nepal, countless dogs face hunger, illness, injury and neglect every single day. Many have never experienced kindness or received even the most basic veterinary care. Through the dedication of our trusted rescue partners and the generosity of our supporters, we work to change that.
We provide funding for emergency medical treatment, food, shelter, sterilisation programmes and vaccinations, helping to reduce suffering while creating long-term, sustainable improvements for street dogs and the communities they live in.

Our Present and Future Goals
To continue the funding of the Sterilisation and Rabies Programme to achieve a greater and deeper impact, as without these projects, many stray animals will continue to suffer cruelty, malnourishment and disease.
To fund projects in rural areas where the dog and cat population are growing at a tremendous speed due in large part to the lack of Veterinary Services available.
To continue advancing our achievement of vaccinating dogs in local shelters, by providing mobile vaccinations in the streets of rural communities, and seeking assistance from local residents and caretakers.
To provide vaccination and worming for litters of pups born on the streets, in order to give them the protection they need in their young lives.
To lead the charge as one of the first organisations in Uttarakhand to provide spaying of stray cats by partnering with the Humane Society India and the NGO from the shelter supported by K9Lives.
